Worldview Technology Partners Expands Enterprise Infrastructure Investment Team
Jeb Miller Joins Leading Venture Capital Firm From Morgan Stanley

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 2002--Worldview Technology Partners, a leading technology venture capital firm with $1.75 billion under management, today announced that Jeb Miller, formerly of Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, joins the firm as an associate focused on the enterprise infrastructure segment of the venture capital firm's venture efforts. Miller will be responsible for identifying new investment opportunities and supporting Worldview's current enterprise infrastructure portfolio companies.

While at Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, Miller was responsible for investments in the storage and enterprise data center infrastructure sectors. He helped launch the internal venture capital effort for Morgan Stanley and was responsible for Morgan Stanley's strategic relationships across the emerging storage market. Miller also served on the board of directors of Rhapsody Networks.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, Miller was Director of Business Development for Scient, an eBusiness services firm. In addition to helping launch and manage Scient Capital, the corporate venture arm of Scient, Miller was also in charge of business development and investor relations.Ý

For over four years, Miller was a member of Morgan Stanley's technology investment banking franchise with offices in Menlo Park, Boston and New York. He was involved with IPOs and/or financings for Brocade Communications, Excel Switching, homestore.com, iCube, Lexmark, Sapient, Scient, SeaChange and TeleTech.Ý

During his tenure there, he also provided M&A advisory services for Cascade's merger with Ascend, Stratus' merger with Ascend, Ciena's acquisition of Lightera Networks, Fujitsu's acquisition of Ascom Nexion, IBM's acquisition of Tivoli, Nexabit's acquisition by Lucent and Siemens' acquisition of Argon Networks.Ý

Miller graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harvard College with a B.A. in Economics.
